The Lamont Wind Ensemble spotlights the energy and innovation of contemporary music in “Modern Movements.” From the driving rhythms of Michael Gandolfi’s Flourishes and Meditations to the sultry grooves of John Mackey’s Strange Humors—performed with guest artists 91 Dance—this program pulses with vitality. Joining forces with the 91 School of the Arts Wind Ensemble, this concert is both a celebration of modern compositional voices and an inspiring collaboration across generations.
